Hello, I am doing a long distance event in my Weta (Everglades Challenge). I currently have the twin tiller configuration. In order to simplify and not have to worry about the other tiller, I want to convert to a single tiller. Is the single setup just half of the twin setup bolted to the top of the tiller?

Alan answered your question. I'm curious. Are you bringing an anchor? How do you intend to beach your Weta for camping events?

I plan to utilize a stick anchor. The smallest traditional anchor, chain, and rope was over 10#s which I feel is too much. Folding kayak anchors seem to drag. I plan to sleep on the boat. I'm taking a tent because it is required. I plan to rig a tarp over the cockpit.

Are you doing the EC?

Not this year. But we're doing a few destination trips this year and I'm starting to think about some of the logistics. I have a folding kayak anchor and agree it is VERY drag prone. Have you optested the stick anchor yet?

No but it holds my 17ft flats boat.
