The 2021 Weta North American Championship scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day is now up on Regatta Network. You can download the Notice of Race and you can register. The link is here:

The class website also has an RSVP feature for this regatta and you have the option to download the WhatsApp app if you want to receive updates before and during the event.

I think this will be a fantastic regatta. The venue is a bay just off Lake Michigan and the weather that time of year should be really nice. Our Great Lakes District Chairman Tim Wieringa has done a great job organizing this event for the class. Weta Class North America (WCNA) is very appreciative of his efforts. The NAC needs to become our premier event and I hope to increase participation to at least 20-30 boats.

The WCNA annual class meeting will also take place at this regatta. The class meeting will include some agenda items to clarify some issues in our current racing rules that will be voted on by the attending sailors. If you cannot attend the event, we will set up a proxy vote on these items but you must be a paid member of WCNA to be able to participate.
