About the Event
This is a fun "race" around 3 buoys off Ventura pier, with lots of boats of all shapes and sizes sailing around the course for 2 hours to count as many laps as possible.
Sponsors can pay per lap or a set amount. Some entries self-sponsor. Any amount is welcome.
It's a great excuse to sail around with a bunch of enthusiastic sailors; and it benefits the local Caregivers organization, a local grass-roots group that provides essential assistance by volunteers to elderly residents with no other supports.
